Early Jazz Education
For Children for school assemblies, libraries, private parties We've created an interactive, original jazz musical based on the story, Little Red Riding Hood. Our live music show is funny and entertaining and features all toe tapping early jazz music. Cast and Instrumentation: Little Red Riding Hood: female vocalist and ukulele The Wolf: male vocalist and guitar Granny: trumpet and vocalist Plus drums or upright bass. Our show also features interactive demonstration and instruction of early forms of jazz dance, instrument demonstration and call/respond scatting for a fun and unexpected educational experience. With over 12 years of teaching experience she has a passion for teaching and sharing her love and experience in the arts. Encouragement of individual expression and creativity in a supportive, fun, yet disciplined classroom setting is what makes her program so unique.
